Meet the QIAGENers

Everything I build, I build with heart

“Each day in production teaches me something new. With resilience, I've learned that I can face any challenge and keep moving forward."
Kehinde Soyinka, Production Associate

In the quiet hum of the production floor, Kehinde Soyinka has found her rhythm of perseverance and learning. Her work may not be in the spotlight, but it’s central to the breakthroughs QIAGEN delivers to scientists and patients around the world.

Finding her strength, shift by shift

When Kehinde joined QIAGEN, she stepped into unfamiliar territory. The machines were complex, the shifts demanding, and the environment fast-paced. But she met the challenge with quiet determination and a willingness to learn.

Her family worried at first, especially about the night shifts, but Kehinde was determined to show just how capable she was. And with steady support from her team and supervisor, she adapted quickly. Her team made all the difference. From her supervisor’s support to the everyday kindness of her colleagues, Kehinde felt encouraged to learn without fear.

“At QIAGEN, you’re allowed to make mistakes,” Kehinde says. “And that creates a great team spirit. We grow together.”

That team spirit has been central to her journey. The culture encourages learning without fear and offers space to improve, even when mistakes happen. For Kehinde, this creates an environment where people look out for each other — and grow together.

A culture that looks out for you

While the work can be physically demanding, Kehinde knows she’s in a place that genuinely prioritizes well-being. Regular breaks and safety checks aren’t just routine. They are part of a broader commitment to care.

Supervisors regularly remind the team to care for both their mental and physical health, reinforcing that they are valued not just for what they do, but for who they are.

Still, what motivates Kehinde most is the purpose behind it all. Each product she helps build contributes to breakthroughs in diagnosis and research. It’s this connection to real lives and real outcomes that gives her work deep meaning.

“I feel like I’m touching lives through my role here,” she reflects.

Resilience that reaches others

For Kehinde, meaningful work doesn’t stop at the factory doors. Outside of work, she continues to give back by offering support and compassion wherever she can.

Resilience isn’t just about enduring hard work; it’s about showing up with heart.

She gives her best, lifts those around her and takes pride in knowing that her work matters. She may not be designing the science, but she’s helping make it possible – with every shift, every product and every act of care.

Because when you work with strength and build with heart, you make resilience possible.
